Robbie Bio - Bass GuitarHello folks, my name is Robbie Nabors, bassist of WWC!. I want to take a little time to give you an insight to just how much God truly means in my life, and how I came to depend on him so much.
I'm what you would call a church kid, I was in church since before I can remember, and remain there to this day. But I am not perfect by any means, nor do I claim to be. In fact, sometimes I didn't even want to be in church. One of the most unfortunate things about growing up in church is that sometimes it can just become routine, something you think nothing more of than brushing your teeth. This was the case with me for a while. I had become pretty much desensitized to the spirit. Even though i played on the worship team from the age of 10, I became apathetic, because I didn't fully understand what it was really all about.
But I remember the day I truly felt the love of God for the first time. The day I once again, and whole heartedly, gave my life to Jesus Christ. The day the direction of my life took a 180. It was summer, and my family had just moved to a small town down south several months before, because my parents found jobs as worship leaders. I was taken away from everything I had ever known. My world as I knew it was shattered, and the remaining pieces I tried so desperately to cling to.. That day, I sat in an empty room, ravaged by months of despair and loneliness, I did what I never had before. I cried out desperately for God to show his love to me, because I wanted nothing more than to end the torment I felt. The second I did, I felt a peace, the likes of which cannot be described. The raging seas that were my emotions calmed to nothing more than a gentle tide. I realized then that God stripped everything away, so I could find what truly matters.
Ever since that day I have dedicated my life to helping anyone, anywhere feel the love I was so graciously given. I committed all my talents to spread the word of God's amazing love and to give him glory, because he is due so much more of it than we can ever give. So when I was given the opportunity to step in for Josh, when he was called to take his journey an extra step, I took it without question. Ever since, I have been able to share the word of God with all who were willing to listen, along with these powerful men of God, and it has changed my life. I hope every day that our music will bless you, and that it can help you realize just how much God loves you. I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of this band. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
If you would like to know the love of God in your life too, drop me a line. Lets talk.
