WWC! hits the Christian Rock landscape again with its newest studio project, Immortalized. The album released December 29, 2009 featuring new front man Kyle Thompson and bassist Robbie Nabors.
Produced by JT Longoria, Immortalized is a hard hitting, high energy hard rock album which explores the true meaning of life. The title track, Immortalized, based on John 11:25-26, takes a first person look at the depravity of man, and the magnificent grace of God who offers each of us forgiveness, and ultimately eternal life, through Jesus Christ.
Immortalized features the new radio single "Wonder Why", along with the high impact song "Looking In" which delves into the personal testimony of drummer Todd Shaw, and his radical delivery through Christ from the chains of drug addiction and alcoholism. Nestled in amongst the high-energy rock songs is a worship ballad, "I'm Yours", as well as a hymn written in 1899 by Lewis E Jones, "Power In The Blood", which WWC! rocked up titled, simply "Power". The final cut on the album, "Break Forth" showcases the lyrical inspiration of Xsedus, Christian Rapper and close friend of WWC!
A recent customer review of the album says "The lyrics are real. The guitars punch you in the face, and the singer has got a great scream that comes out of no where."
All in all, the sophomore project from WWC!, Immortalized, is a great showing of the band's maturing writing and song production. If you like rock, you're gonna like this record!"
